On July 25 of last year, Sandy Springs resident Jennifer Ewing was murdered on the Silver Comet Trail while taking her regular, 50-mile bicycle ride from the trails Smyrna outpost. The suspect, Matthew Lanz, would later be arrested on charges that he murdered the couple who lived next door to his Acworth home days earlier. Police did not identify the victim, but the family confirmed to CBS affiliate WGCL-TV the girl's name is Fallon Fridley.
